The discount cards below are accepted on our website. If you want to use a different discount card, please call the Contact Centre. Please note: you will need to show proof of entitlement during on-board inspection.

50% discount Belgium (SNCB)

If you have a reduction card giving 50% discount on the Belgian rail network (e.g. Large Families, Preferential Reimbursement or Military card), you also get 50% discount on the Belgian part of an international journey with InterCity or regional trains at Standard fare.

100% discount Belgium (SNCB)

Holders of a valid travel pass, Unlimited Season Ticket or token for free transport on the Belgian rail network (visual impaired travellers, parliament members, police in uniform etc...) do not have to pay for the Belgian part of an international journey with conventional IC or local trains.

40% discount Netherlands (NS)

Holders of some types of NS season tickets (e.g. OV-Jaarabonnement, depending on the travel time and the season ticket conditions) get 40% discount on the Dutch part of an international journey with conventional trains to/from the Netherlands.

100% discount Netherlands (NS)

Holders of a valid railpass for the Dutch rail network and holders of some types of NS season tickets (e.g. OV-Jaarabonnement, depending on the travel time and the season ticket conditions) do not pay for the Dutch part of an international journey with conventional trains to/from the Netherlands.

Carte Liberté (SNCF)

The Carté Liberté is sold at the fixed price of €399 per year. This card is valid in 1st and 2nd class throughout France and offers 45% discount on the Business Première fare or 60% discount on the Seconde fare (as well as 50% discount to a maximum of 3 accompanying children).

Carte Avantage - child companion (SNCF)

Discount for maximum 3 children (4 to 11 years old) who travel together with the holder of a valid Carte Avantage.

Set off in Köln Hbf, Cologne’s main train station, situated next to the famous cathedral. The high-speed Thalys train will whisk you off to Paris Nord – via Belgium – in 3 hours 14 minutes.

Upon your arrival at Paris Nord train station, you can continue your journey with one of the many train connections, or you can start your visit of the city by metro or bus (provided by RATP).

Latest ICE train of the day cancelled between Brussels and Cologne on several days from June to October

Due to planned engineering works on the German rail network, the latest ICE train of the day in both directions between Brussels and Cologne will be cancelled on several days from June to October 2025.

This concerns:

ICE 319: Bruxelles-Midi/Brussel-Zuid 20:25 - Köln Hbf 22:21
ICE 318: Köln Hbf 21:42 - Bruxelles-Midi/Brussel-Zuid 23:35

These trains will not operate between Brussels and Cologne on the following days:

Monday 23, Thursday 26, Friday 27 and Saturday 28 June
Monday 21, Thursday 24, Friday 25 and Saturday 26 July
Monday 18, Thursday 21, Friday 22 and Saturday 23 August
Monday 15, Thursday 18, Friday 19 and Saturday 20 September

ICE trains for travel to/from Germany from 14 December will be bookable as of 15 October

Every year in mid-December, European rail companies simultaneously amend their train services, with adapted timetables taking effect more or less throughout Europe.

Reservations on Deutsche Bahn trains (including ICE services) for journeys to, from and within Germany from 14 December 2025 onwards will be possible from Wednesday 15 October.

Please note that Eurostar services connecting Paris, Brussels, Cologne and Dortmund after 14 December are already available for reservation.
