New direct Libramont-Luxembourg trains

As of 14 December 2025, the local Libramont-Arlon and Arlon-Luxembourg services will merge into one, offering a direct service between Luxembourg and the Belgian province of Luxembourg without change in Arlon.

Fares valid between any station in Belgium and any station in Luxembourg. Holders of Train+ enjoy extra discounts on the Belgian part of the journey (the Luxembourgish section is free in 2nd class).

A ticket for each type of traveller

Fares valid from 15 October 2025

These fares apply to travel between any station in Belgium and any station in Luxembourg. When travelling in 2nd class, you only pay for the Belgian part of the journey as travel is free in 2nd class in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg since 1 March 2020 (the free Luxembourg section of your journey is automatically deduced from the price of your ticket).

Adult (26-64 years):
- for a single or return journey
- 30% discount on the Belgian part of the journey on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays
- 100% refundable up to 1 day before departure date
- if you have Train+, you get a 40% discount during off-peak hours* on weekdays and 40% additional discount on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays (on top of the basic 30% weekend discount) and you’ll never pay more than a capped price of €14 per journey in 2nd class or €22,40 in 1st class on the Belgian part of the journey.
Youth (-26), seniors (65+) and beneficiaries of preferential reimbursement:
- 40% discount at any time on the Belgian part of the journey
- for a single or return journey
- 100% refundable up to 1 day before departure date
- if you have Train+, you get an additional 40% discount during off-peak hours* and on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays (on top of your basic 40% discount and you’ll never pay more than a capped price of €5,50 per journey in 2nd class or €8,80 in 1st class on the Belgian part of the journey.
Accompanied Children (-12 years):
- children under 12 travel free if accompanied by a traveller aged 12 or over with a valid ticket (maximum 4 free children per paying traveller).
- unaccompanied children travel under the youth conditions (-26).

Good to know: If you travel in 2nd class in Luxembourg, you will only pay for the Belgian part of your journey, as train travel in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg is free in 2nd class (the price of your ticket already takes into account the free travel on the Luxembourg part of your journey).

*off-peak hours: departure from Belgium (or, coming from our neighbouring countries, departure from the first Belgian station after the border) from Monday to Friday before 6:01, from 9:00 to 16:00 and after 18:00.
