Discover Luxembourg City, listed as UNESCO World Heritage, at the best fares with our regional cross-border trains from Belgium or with TGV INOUI trains from France. Tickets for all these trains are available from SNCB International.
Due to a strike announcement in Belgium, the rail service on the Belgian rail network may be limited from Sunday 16 March (10 pm) to Monday 17 March 2025 included.
If the strike is confirmed, an alternative train service will be put in place depending on the available staff. More details about this alternative service will be available this week on www.sncb.be.
For international trains (such as Eurostar, TGV INOUI, EuroCity, Eurocity Direct, ICE, OUIGO etc...), no consequences have been announced so far. We advise to check this page regularly for further updates.
Please take alternative service into account if you are travelling on our cross-border local trains to/from Lille, Maubeuge, Luxembourg, Roosendaal, Maastricht or Aachen or if you need to take a local connection in Belgium before or after your international journey.
Fares valid from 1 February 2021
These fares apply to travel between any station in Belgium and any station in Luxembourg. When travelling in 2nd class, you only pay for the Belgian part of the journey as travel is free in 2nd class in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg since 1 March 2020 (the free Luxembourg section of your journey is automatically deduced from the price of your ticket).
Buy a new season ticket at a Belgian station counter. Would you like to renew an existing season ticket? This can be done at a ticket machine in a Belgian station or online at www.sncb.be (via My SNCB).
