Set out to explore Breda, a town in the south of the Netherlands within 10 km from the Belgian border, and let yourself be surprised by its versatility. EuroCity trains will take you straight to the city centre every day!
Due to engineering works on the Dutch rail network, the EuroCity (Brussels-Rotterdam) and Eurocity Direct (Brussels-Amsterdam) will be subject to the following route restrictions on Saturday 8 and Sunday 9 November 2025:
EuroCity (Brussels-Rotterdam)
Eurocity Direct (Brussels-Amsterdam)
Due to engineering works on the Dutch rail network, the EuroCity (Brussels-Rotterdam) and Eurocity Direct (Brussels-Amsterdam) trains will be diverted via Roosendaal on Saturday 15 and Sunday 16 November 2025, resulting in longer journey times.
EuroCity trains will only operate between Brussels and Breda (instead of Rotterdam) and will not serve the station of Noorderkempen. Substitution buses will shuttle between Breda and Noorderkempen.
From Saturday 15 November to Tuesday 9 December 2025, engineering works will be carried out in the rail tunnel south of Brussels Airport-Zaventem rail station. During these works, the number of trains to and from the airport will be significantly reduced.
